Musical
Biography
Jeff
Myers, as the newest member
of Monday Loss, is no
stranger to Rock and Roll.
Jeff and Ken started playing
together at the end of high
school and performed in two
bands together. The first
band was called Tarot, in
which Jeff played drums and
sang. The other band was
called the Suspects. Jeff
was the lead singer and Ken
the rhythm guitar player.
After high school,
Jeff left for the south to
follow a new job
opportunity. He performed in
a few bands down in
the
Mississippi
/
New Orleans
area. He was the singer for
a band called Elmer Rigby
doing punk-a-billy type rock
and roll. He also was the
drummer for a band called
the Purv’s that had some
success on the cover band
circuit. Jeff lost his house
and 99% of all his
belongings when hurricane
Katrina hit, so he decided
to come back up to the NW
and try something new. Jeff
and Ken kept in touch, and
continued to be good friends
through it all. There was
always talk about one day
getting a band back
together. The timing was
perfect as Monday Loss was
in the market for a new
drummer and Jeff fit the
bill perfectly adding his
style to the Monday Loss
sound.
